Maritza

Maritza joined Victor's Vision in 2016 when she was 16 years old, and spent two years in the program. In 2017, she told us: "I want to study gastronomy because I want to be a chef. I love to cook and I love to make new things. This is my big goal. I want to have my own chain of restaurants. I’ll make a lot of different types of food. We’ll start here in Peru and then maybe open restaurants in other countries as well. I’m not sure if I want to go to a technical school or a university. If there were no limits in my life, I would go to university. Maybe the one here in Chulucanas so I can stay close. I don’t think I’m ready for university yet - I think I need some more time. I grew up in the country so I didn’t have a very good primary education. I’m making up for that now, but I still think I need to practice more.vMy favorite class is math because it’s easiest, but I also love to read- it’s just not as easy for me."
