Abigail
Abigail joined Victor's Vision in 2014 when she was 9-years-old. She lives with her mom, dad, and three younger sisters. Her mom finished technical school to be a nurse but she stays at home; and her dad finished technical school as well and he’s a mechanic. Her parents want her to be part of the program because they want her to learn and "they want me to do better in life than they’ve done." Abigail likes how the Victor's Vision professors teach and believes that the classes help her to get better at school. Her favorite class is math, because it comes easily to her. She also loves to dance, either at home or through programs she participated in at school.
"It’s important to my family and me that I get to be the first person to go university. This is really important to me because I want to be a good role model for my younger sisters and show them what they can make of their lives. I want to study medicine to be a doctor. I want to be a doctor because I admire my mom for getting her nursing degree, but I want to do even more. I want to help as many patients as possible and I can do that as a doctor."
Abigail successfully graduated from high school and Victor's Vision in December 2019. In 2020 she decided to change her career ambitions and pursue International Business. She was successfully admitted to the Universidad Católica de Chulucanas to study international business, where she enrolled in classes beginning August 2020.
