Volunteer With Us

We currently have several open volunteer positions and would love to fill the spots with passionate, hard-working, and creative individuals! These positions are ideal for those who may want to dedicate a small amount of time to support Victor's Vision's work, as well as for students who want to have a more formal intern experience. These volunteerships can be completed from any location. Check out the positions below to see if any of them fit with your particular skillset and knowledge base and if you’re interested in volunteering with us, please submit the Volunteer Application Form at the bottom of this page.

Fundraiser Host
Interested in gaining fundraising experience? We are seeking fundraiser hosts to create and host a personal fundraising event. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a little bit of time to give. It is also an opportunity for new fundraisers to learn about fundraising and have some fun while doing it! Past fundraisers have included restaurant shares, Zumba classes, bake sales, partnerships with local venues, 5K runs, and more! We will provide resources and support for any ideas you may have.

Social Media Volunteer
Are you passionate about social media and have a knack for creativity? We are seeking a Social Media Volunteer to aid us with the management and development of our social media platforms. Potential activities could include launching our very first blog, creating a promotional video, launching your own social media crowdfunding fundraiser on our behalf, and more. We encourage creativity and any other ideas you might have.

Viva la Visión Team
Did you attend Viva la Visión 2018 and feel inspired - or missed out but want to be involved next year? We are looking for volunteers to join our Viva la Visión 2019 team to put on our annual premier fundraising event! This is ideal if you have experience in event planning and organizing parties, or are comfortable reaching out to restaurants, venues and potential sponsors or auction item donors. Candidates based in the Philadelphia area are highly preferred but you can volunteer from any location.

Website Assistant
If you’re passionate about web design, or you’re seeking to gain some experience with website design, then this position is for you. Help our Director of Development stay on top of website updates and keep our website looking fresh and fun! Learn the ins an outs of using content managers such as Wordpress and Shopify, or put your experienced skill sets to work. We are especially in need of a Spanish speaking volunteer.
Corporate Liaison
Do you have an interest in the crossover between the corporate and the non-profit worlds? Are you looking to gain marketing experience in both realms? If so, consider interning with us as a Corporate Liaison and help us develop a business plan to attract corporate donors and sponsorships. We’re looking to expand our donor base and are seeking support from an intern or volunteer to market and develop networks within the sphere of corporate philanthropy.
Salesforce Guru
Interested in learning about Salesforce? Salesforce is a widely utilized software program by companies and nonprofits alike. We want to use Salesforce to manage our donors and track important information and are seeking an intern to build our Salesforce system. In addition to building the initial system, the volunteer would create a “tutorial” guide on how to use the system as it pertains to our data. Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not required - we're willing to provide training and guidance.
Grant Writer
Always been interested in the world of grant writing? Looking for a great organization to work with to put those interests to work? Joining us as a Grant Writer would entail searching for grant opportunities and then gaining firsthand experience by writing initial proposals and fine-tuning grant submissions along with our team of Directors. We welcome all levels of experience with this position.
