Gianella
Gianella joined Victor's Vision in 2017 when she was 16-years-old. Gianella lives with her father and two younger siblings.
Her father works as a security guard at a school and wanted her and her brother to join the program - her brother, Rodolfo, is also part of Victor's Vision. Her mother lives in another town and takes care of the home.
Gianella explained, "l like Victor's Vision because of the great teachers and the friends I have in the program. It's a beautiful program and it's beautiful to be here. When I am older, I want to study at a university, to travel and have a family."
Gianella graduated from high school and Victor’s Vision in December 2018 and in March 2019 she officially became the first Victor’s Vision student to receive the prestigious Beca 18 scholarship. Beca 18 is a Peruvian national scholarship that covers the full tuition in a university or institute of higher education, as well as the expenses of food and school supplies. Gianella will study industrial and systems engineering at the University of Piura.
