We celebrated Giving Tuesday on December 1st, 2020

 Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Special to 2020: Food Basket Campaign

As coronavirus cases increased in Peru, our staff in Chulucanas launched a monthly food basket program to support the basic needs of our families during this difficult time. Familes receive monthly staples like rice, pasta, tuna, and oil; meanwhile, we delivered weekly fruit bundles to our students! We launched extra workshops to address stress and anxiety for our parents, and each family representative met with our psychologist to allow for an assessment of mental health and signs of stress, depression, anxiety, or domestic violence.
