Gladys
Gladys is a 17-year-old graduate of the Victor's Vision program. She joined in 2016.
Of her experience at Victor's Vision, she says: "The program was very helpful. They teach us new things here and they go beyond what we learn at our school. They also teach us new methods for solving the problems we have, whether the subject is math or the problem is in computer class... It's a significant help for us. They also teach us English, in addition to the basic courses."
Gladys hopes to one day have her own clinic. She feels that Victor's Vision has helped give her the self-confidence necessary to fulfill what she would have previously seen as impossible. She thanks Victor's Vision's psychologist and some of her teachers as instilling this confidence in her. She also feels that she's been able to get to know herself better through these experiences.
"Victor's Vision is a huge help for us. I'd encourage those that support the program to continue to do so. There are so many people that are in need of this academic help and don't have the financial resources to seek it. It also helps boost our confidence. Thank you for your support!"
