Lesa Sexton
Lesa Sexton has over ten years of experience as an educator, working with youth both within the US and abroad. She currently works for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) as a Director of Youth Development, Workforce Readiness and in that role she supports youth to build the skills they need to be prepared for employment opportunities.
Prior to joining BGCA, she worked in Honduras with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) supporting development projects related to youth programming and disaster relief. Lesa has additional experience working with formal and informal youth programming in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Malaysia. Lesa currently lives in Atlanta. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from UNC Chapel Hill and a master's in international studies from NC State University. |
